Motorcycle Awareness Month 2026
for Transport Accident Commission
◆ The project
66-second road safety spot for the TAC's 2026 Motorcycle Awareness Month — using humour and a recognisable voice to land a message Australian drivers usually tune out.
A 2026 Motorcycle Awareness Month campaign for the TAC, developed with agency alt/shift/. Riders are over-represented in Victoria’s serious-injury statistics, and the brief was to re-open a conversation with drivers about actively looking for motorcycles — a conversation that most drivers have stopped listening to.
The hero cut runs 66 seconds, built around a tonally unexpected approach for a road-safety spot. Production needed to hit a difficult balance: enough warmth to cut through audience fatigue, enough weight to carry the underlying message.
